Tent Camping Days

These days were fun and it got us out camping. However, just like the diaper phase of raising a kid, it's part of the journey but we wouldn't want to go back.

Pop Up Upgrade

Getting the popup was a game changer. We felt at the time we were getting the best of both worlds of tent camping and RVing. The two hour setup time was not awesome but we were MUCH more comfortable than in our tent.

Hybrid Heaven

I think we've arrived! Minimal setup time, we can overnight on the road (using the couch and dinette as sleepers) and we have a dry bath!

Who We Are

At the Happy Hybrid Camper, our mission is to provide hybrid RV owners with the best possible resources to enhance their camping experience.

In order to achieve our mission, we have two supporting goals:

1. To provide a unique and helpful platform for Hybrid RV owners to connect, share advice, tips, and experiences to help each other discover new ways to enjoy their camping experiences and foster a community of RV owners.
 
2. To provide RV owners with useful and reliable information and products to enhance their RV experience. We strive to create innovative solutions to make RVing more enjoyable and hassle-free.

We are dedicated to the Hybrid Camper and those that might be 'Hybrid Curious'. Our family started started our outdoor adventures in a regular tent. Then we upgraded to a bigger tent and then to a popup. We finally transitioned into a Shamrock 19 Hybrid and I think we've found our sweet spot!

We plan to feature owners of various models of Hybrid Campers that can give a tour of their vehicle and share a little feedback on it’s pros & cons, must haves, organization tips, maintenance, what it’s like to own it and maybe some other helpful tips/insights/advice.

Unlike most RV related sites, we want to focus on the community of fellow hybrid campers and not just on one family. That means we need the help of other hybrid owners to share their tips, tricks, advice and stories.

In addition, we are developing products to help us solve some gaps in our experience with our own Shamrock 19. Our first product is a ThermaView Tent Window Insert.

It's a clear vinyl insert you attach around the screen of your Roo/Shamrock that allows you to have your tent windows open while still keeping the heat/cold/rain/wind out of your RV.
